            Emotional Quotient


Hello everyone! I hope all of you are doing great .
Today I want to discuss a serious issue with you all. Mmm yeah it is something imortant and helpful for all of us , so lets get started....

As we know from our childhood we pay attention to improve our IQ that is Intelligence quotient. We fed our mind with all the general knowledge around us and we think that more the IQ ,more successful is the person but I'm really sorry to say that guys its not the case.
There is an another term which most of us generally ignore, i.e; EQ (Emotional Quotient). You know most of the successful people in earth have more EQ than IQ.

Lets me explain EQ to you properly-

  • As we all know we are Emotional creatures and we take almost all of our decisions emotionally.
For example if you would know your house is on fire and your family is still inside , you will not think at that moment , you will just ran inside to save them without thinking that it can kill you too.
  • So if EQ is that powerful so we can improve it also, thats the good news. 

  • There are certain techniques , by which you can improve your EQ 

  • Self awareness is the first - you are the one who know your weak and strong points so you can convert your weakness to strength.

  • See if you feel angry often , for example you are driving a car and someone just overtake your car such that it can cause harm to you and you got angry and shouted aloud but that time you feel he is not listening, so you increase your speed to match with his speed to call names or what ever and at the same time you are so busy that you didn't see a truck coming towards you and it can cause accident . So cause of your sudden anger , you can cause a big problem. So what to do at that time? 

  • Answer is REFRAMING , yes reframing is to reframe your thoughts. As earlier you think that the person who overtake you is want to showoff or something so you got angry .

  • Now think may be that person is really in a hurry. May be some medical problem or something like that, by thinking this your all anger will disappear in a second. So thats the power of reframing. That will help you.

  • So guys try to improve your EQ and stay calm...think twice before taking emotional decisions.
